Ealing Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme provides free holiday clubs, activities and meals for children and young people living or attending school in Ealing during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays. The programme is funded by the Department for Education and coordinated locally by Ealing Council.

HAF is available for:

  • Children and young people from Reception to Year 11
  • Those who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals
  • Some additional places for vulnerable children who may benefit, even if they are not eligible for free school meals (via a professional referral route)

Each HAF session typically offers:

  • Fun, enriching activities such as sports, arts, creative workshops and trips
  • A healthy, nutritious meal each day
  • Opportunities for children to socialise, stay active and build confidence during the school holidays

HAF programmes run at a wide range of local venues across Ealing, including schools and community settings, and many providers offer inclusive and SEND‑friendly provision.

Families need to register and book places in advance for each holiday period.
