Values Baccalaureate for all - Year 3 parents get started over the summer holidays
Yesterday, along with some Year 6 platinum award holders, I spoke to all the children in Year 3 about getting started early on their values baccalaureate. As part of our values-based ethos, we expect all children from Year 4 up to work through our values baccalaureate programme. The summer holiday is a great time to get started. Our baccalaureate programme is a key part of our values-based learning, focusing on character development. Pupils complete activities in school and in the community, demonstrating values in action. The expectation is that all pupils in Years 4-6 take part and achieve the following awards:
- Year 4 - Bronze
- Year 5 - Silver
- Year 6 - Summer
- Platinum, for those who want and extra challenge.
