Why is Values Language Important?

Using values language at home reinforces the lessons children learn at school and helps them internalise these important principles. When parents and caregivers consistently use and model values language, children are more likely to adopt these behaviours and attitudes in their daily lives. This creates a cohesive and supportive environment that promotes their overall well-being and success.

During the summer term (2025) we will be providing parents and carers with a bank of statements that contain our values-based vocabulary.  We will focus on the school core values and provide examples of how to talk about and naturally use that language at home.  This will help reinforce the values that we are teaching in school and support your child's development in a consistent and meaningful way.
