Class teachers will communicate messages for your child’s year group via the year group noticeboards:
Whole school notices will be posted to ‘Latest News’ this will also be emailed to you weekly on a Friday
You will need to activate your My Child at School account for information directly linked to your child. You will also use this account to book parent meetings, clubs and childcare.
From time to time we will also send direct emails to you.

Children should wear school uniform everyday with the exception of
Your child should attend school every day. Please book family holidays outside of the school term dates.
Call the absence line, 0203 745 7411, on the first morning of all absences before 9.00am, telling us the reason for being away. Find our more about attendance here:
Check the school calendar for dates of events in school. Look out for class assemblies, cooking and gardening lessons, visits, trips and parent consultation meetings. These will also be added to the Year Group Noticeboards.
Children will eat their lunch with their class in one of our dining rooms. They can bring a packed lunch from home or have a hot meal. School meals are cooked from fresh ingredients each day by our ISS caterers, and are currently free for all pupils. School meals meet the Government's school food standards. Our core school day starts at 9am and ends at 3.30pm. Children in Years Reception, 1, 2 and 3 are dropped off at their classroom doors. In Years 4, 5 and 6 children are dropped off at an external door that leads to their classrooms upstairs.
We offer breakfast club from 7.30am and afterschool club (childcare) until 6pm. We also offer a range of specialist clubs that can be ‘mixed and matched’ with childcare. See timetable and links below.

You will have an opportunity to meet with your child’s class teacher 3 times each year. In addition to this your child’s English and mathematics books will be sent home for you to see at least twice each year. You will receive an annual report at the end of the summer term.

Fielding Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) raises organises fun, social events for parents and children at the school. This helps parents and children get to know one another and build a sense of school community. Find out more here.
Parent class reps for the PTFA set up WhatsApp groups to communicate about the work of the PTFA. These groups are not official school channels of communication, if you have any questions about school please direct these to admin@fielding.ealing.sch.uk these will then be passed on to the relevant person.
