Important changes to data protection law are coming into force on 25 May which will affect how your personal data is handled. The PTFA takes your privacy seriously and we have our own privacy policy, which can be found below. .

The holding of your personal email addresses by class reps will no longer be compliant with data protection law and we will be asking class reps to delete all personal data they currently hold, such as email addresses and contact lists. You will no longer be able to receive emails from class reps.

In order to keep you informed of PTFA activities, we have decided to use a new platform called Classlist which we can use to communicate news and fundraising events in a secure and legally compliant way. You will need to register on Classlist in a few simple steps and you can also download their app. You will be able to control what notifications you receive from Classlist and therefore, the PTFA.

Please be aware that for reasons of security we will also be switching to Classlist’s email system. This is technical change and will not otherwise affect how we use your personal data.  It will apply to all parents including those who decide not to join Classlist.
