Payments for morning and afternoon sessions

Fees are payable monthly in advance (from August to June) and within 14 days of invoices being issued. If fees are not paid on time and remain unpaid your child's place will be put at risk. Government funding to cover some of the costs of these sessions is available including:

  • 15 'Universal' government funded hours.
  • 15 'Additional' government funded hours (30 hour eligibility)
  • Childcare Vouchers
  • Tax-Free Childcare

Important

There is specific eligibility criteria for all the above except for the 15 'Universal' government funded hours which is available to all children in the term following their 3rd birthday. Please note that all children attending nursery for 15 hours a week will still be required to pay a small monthly fee.

Holidays taken in term time and Government funding rules - please see Nursery Terms and Conditions

There are some examples at the bottom of the page give you an indication of what you might expect to pay in different circumstances. The examples below are for illustration purposes only. The actual amounts may vary slightly according to number of days in the month and weeks in the term. Fuller details of Government Funding and other help with child care costs can be found on Government Funding and help with childcare costs page

Payments for early sessions

Early morning sessions (breakfast)will be added to the monthly invoice where this is a permanent arrangement. Early morning sessions are not covered by the 15/30 hours government funding as we do not offer the option to “stretch” the funding, you can use Child Care Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare payments to help cover the cost.

Payments for emergency ad-hoc term time sessions

Emergency ad-hoc sessions (early, morning and/or afternoon) can be booked in term time for events such as unexpected work commitments, jury service, medical appointments, family crisis etc. These are subject to an increased fee as detailed above to cover administration and are bookable through your Ziggi Systems account. Ad-hoc term time sessions are not covered by the 15/30 hours government funding but you can use Child Care Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare payments to help cover the cost.

Payments for late collection

Late collection will incur an additional fee as detailed above, then an additional £5 per each five minutes thereafter. These costs will be added to your Nursery cashbook on Ziggi Systems.

Payments for Holiday Club

Please see the Holiday Club page for full details of Holiday Club fees and payments. As with early and ad-hoc term time sessions, Holiday Club is not covered by the 15 and 30 hours government funding as we do not offer the option to “stretch” the funding but you can use Child Care Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare payments to help cover it.

How much will I have to pay?

The examples below are for illustration purposes only.

The actual amounts may vary slightly according to number of days in the month and weeks in the term.
