End of year thanks from Governing Board

As we approach the end of another busy and successful school year, the Governing Body would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support of our school community.

It has been a year full of learning, growth, and achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the progress made across the school. We would especially like to express our sincere thanks to the dedicated staff team, including all teaching staff as well as after-school, holiday club and specialist club staff members. Their passion, professionalism, and commitment continue to make a real difference every day.

We’d also like to say a big thank you to you—our parents and carers—not only for the way you support your children day to day, but also for your valuable input throughout the year. Whether it’s through parent surveys, feedback on the recent changes to the school lunch provision, or your involvement in events and activities, your voices help shape the direction and decisions of the school. A special thank you also goes to our fantastic class reps and the PTFA, whose time, energy and enthusiasm have helped raise significant funds and create wonderful opportunities for extra-curricular fun—for pupils and parents alike.

We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the children who have taken part in the many extra-curricular opportunities offered this year. From the outstanding musical performance at the Royal Albert Hall, to the enthusiastic participation in various maths challenges, and the incredible effort and sportsmanship shown at numerous sporting events, the children have represented the school with enthusiasm, talent, and pride.

We continue to receive extremely positive feedback from external organisations who have worked with or observed our pupils. Their behaviour, respectfulness, and positive attitudes are frequently highlighted, and we are incredibly proud of the way they consistently embody the values of our school community.  Maintaining high standards of behaviour and respect is a key part of our school ethos, and we appreciate your continued support in reinforcing these values at home. When children see a consistent message between school and home, it really helps them grow in confidence and character.

A special mention must go to our ARP pupils and staff, whose dedication, resilience, and hard work have been nothing short of inspiring. We are thrilled to share that the ARP has been nominated for a prestigious SEND award — a true testament to the inclusive ethos of the school and the incredible commitment of the team. This recognition is richly deserved, and we are immensely proud of everything they have achieved.

To those families who are leaving us this year—whether your children are moving on to secondary school or relocating—we wish you all the very best for the future. And to those returning in September, we look forward to another exciting year ahead.

Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable summer break.
