Year 3: Camp out, a night under the stars
Year 3 will be having 2 days packed full of exciting activities. Have a look at all the fun things we will get up to...
In Year 3, children are given the exciting opportunity to camp out in the school grounds. In 2025 the dates are 5th and 6th June.
They also take part in a range of activities that help in building their communication, co-operation, leadership and listening skills. Please see the video on the Year 3 Noticeboard for more information.

Getting Camp started by raising the flag!
Building our home for the night!
The Outdoors people work step by step to instruct children how to make their home for the night. Each tent sleeps around 8 children. Your child will pick 2 friends (of the same gender) to share with. They will have at least one of them in their tent.
Each tent will have an adult assigned to it from school staff.
You won't believe us but we turned this dirty water into clean and drinkable water!
We have lots of other activities during the day including: pendant making, survival skills and more... every child will have the opportunity to do all of the tasks.
