Following a recent governing body meeting, we have made amendments to the term dates for the 2025-26 academic year. We are pleased to announce the inclusion of a 'floating' day for Eid, one of the 3 occasional days we are advised to set by Ealing. This change allows our Muslim families and staff to celebrate Eid, recognising the importance of this religious event.

Key Details:

• Floating day for Eid: The date of Eid is determined by the Islamic Lunar Calendar and the start of Ramadan. Therefore we are only able to give an approximate date. The actual date is determined by the sighting of the new crescent moon in Saudi Arabia, which signifies the start of Ramadan.  We will confirm the exact date 4 weeks before it is due to take place.
• Staff contracted days: School based staff who work during term time, unlike other employed people, are not able to book annual leave in term time. Therefore, within their contract of employment, they are able to request up to 3 days within a school year to recognise and celebrate religious events. For many of our staff, the floating day for Eid will be one of these dates.
• End of School Year: The school year for pupils will now end on Friday, 17th July 2026.
