Children were recently invited to take part in the Wonderverse poetry competition – a national creative writing contest run by Young Writers. Pupils were encouraged to write original poems on any theme or in any style, giving their imaginations free rein.

We’re delighted to announce that seven Year 5 pupils have had their work selected for publication in Wonderverse – A Galaxy of Imagination, which will be released on 18th August. With so many entries submitted from across the UK, this is a truly impressive achievement!

A copy of the book will be added to our school library, allowing everyone to enjoy these remarkable poems. It’s wonderful to see our young writers flourishing. A special well done to Bernice (5P), Ollie (5H), Toby (5H), Emily (5H), Aliza (5H), Hannah (5H) and Jessica (5H).
