Year 5 & 6 Girls Ealing Girls Cup League Match vs St Marks

Today, the girls came in confident as they had recently played St Marks in a tournament. They had a game plan and they stuck to it. As the goalkeeper took the goal kick Flo H (6H) came in intercepted and scored an early goal. The strength in our team came from our solid defence. We had Annabelle (6H) playing her debut and she didn’t let anyone get past her. We also had Martha (6H) and Anya (6F) communicating well to get the ball out every time St Mark’s pressured towards our goal.  At half time the score was 1-0 to Fielding. In the second half, changes were made and Lyla (6H), Ruth (6P), and Evie (6S) came on and pressed forward in the attack which meant we were holding a lot more possession of the game. As no further goals were being scored other changes had to be made Flo G (5S) came on and scored 2 goals straight into the back of the net. In our final goal Evie (6S) crossed the ball to Emma (6F) to blast the ball into the back of the net.  Great teamwork girls!

Fielding won 4-0!!!
