Exciting new clubs

The Specialist Clubs overview will be released on the school website today, this is for browsing only, with booking opening next week.

Next term we have a fantastic mix of clubs available for the children to choose from, with over 20 providers sharing their skills and expertise.

Once again, waiting lists have been used to inform the expansion of clubs, there will be an additional Muddy Hands gardening club and two extra sessions of ‘What’s for Tea?’ cooking club, now open to Year 1 and  2 pupils . To support and further develop children’s progression in Ballet, Enpointe Ballet will also run a Friday morning session for the children who passed their exams taking them onto Level 1.

The language clubs have restructured their year groups into key- stages to enable a smooth booking process and define learning groups for children.

Looking forward to the term ahead consideration has to be taken for the change in weather and natural lighting, some clubs will finish at the end of the first half of term. The field and forest will need time to rejuvenate so we plan for QPR football and Forest club to return in the Spring Term. Tennis club will also finish at this time.

With seasonal changes we say thank you and goodbye to Cricket and Golf, and welcome the return of London Scottish Rugby.

So what’s new?

Magical Maths! An educational club that makes maths fun and exciting, children will have sessions of Mystery solving, Genius training and Olympic Matheletics to name a few of the sessions planned.

We aim to arrange for majority of repeated clubs remain on the same day and time; however, please note there have been some changes next term due to provider availability or space available.

The Music Ensembles will start after October half term, more information will follow shortly.

KS1 – Tuesday 11^th July 8.00pm

KS2 – Thursday 13^th July 8.00pm

Payment for specialist club is due at the time of booking, if paying with childcare vouchers please email clubs@fielding.gov.uk to advise.
