Donations - Thank you
Kind words and generous voluntary contributions from parents to the school have overwhelmed us. Thank you.
Parents tell us of their support for the school, including:
- "my son found the support from Mrs Reehal invaluable. I will be setting up a standing order for £40 a month";
"we appreciate the thought and effort that you, the staff, the governors and the PTFA are putting in to continue the high standards already set. Our family would like to donate £240 'upfront' today for our 2 children";
"we understand what a difficult position the school is in and appreciate how challenging things are in terms of funding. We have set up the standing order and just wanted to express our support for school in making this request";
"I hope you get a hearty response from the parent body - we are all behind you. We have set up a standing order for our daughter and son".
Some parents also share thoughts and ideas to help us. Benefitting from Gift Aid is a common theme. We do not want to break any HMRC rules or overwhelm Charlotte or Nolan, volunteer PTFA Treasurer and Chair respectively. We will work with them to review our approach. Meanwhile:
- contact the PTFA if you would like to make a single donation of £500, or more and would like us to claim Gift Aid,
- otherwise, all other donations to the school account.
Others understand and support the school but want to know more. We continue to welcome questions and your thoughts. Join us to hear answers and find out more:
The Governing Board, school leaders and staff do not want to increase class sizes or ask families for a regular donation. However, all of us want to keep on offering our pupils the best education that we can. Insights and support from our PTFA continues to be welcomed.
Have you understood our needs and made your voluntary, regular donation?
