Ealing Foodbank collection update
On Monday 22nd November, we will be collecting for our local charity choice for this year: Ealing Foodbank. We will be doing a food and money collection, where there will be a choice to either donate some food and non-food items or send some money in with pupils. Each month, Ealing food bank share a desired shopping list based on their current needs. Their current wish list is:
- UHT Milk – whole milk or semi skimmed, not skimmed please
- Long Life Fruit Juice & Squash
- Vegetarian Meals – anything long life!
- Instant Coffee
- Dried/Powdered Milk
- Savoury Biscuits & Crackers
- Tinned Vegetables – anything green e.g. peas, beans
- Ketchup & Mayo
- Peanut Butter/Marmite/Sandwich Paste
- Cooking Oil
- Laundry Products
This is their current wish list but would be happy with other long life and dried products.
Money can be bought in as cash and given to class teachers. There will be a collection point for food at the front of the school, in front of the windows under the Values display.
Pupils will also be spoken to about this important event this week, in relation to our core value of our core value of Empathy, where they will consider the important work y does in our local area.
Thank you for supporting this event.
