The results are in for our Easter Battle of the Bands!

In the Years 3 & 4 Battle, congratulations to 4P who scored an overall 1047 points over the break on Times Tables Rock Stars. Also, congratulations to 3H and 4S who came in 2nd and 3rd place in the battle. A huge well done to the overall top player - William in 4P a.k.a Tom Avion. Congratulations also go to Alexander in 3H and Louis in 4P who were 2nd and 3rd in the individual scores.

In the Years 5 & 6 Battle, congratulations to 6H who scored an overall 167 points over Easter. Well done to 6S and 5F who were 2nd and 3rd in the class battle. A huge congratulations also goes to Joni in 6H a.k.a Ricky Gass for winning the individual competition. Congratulations also go to Alvin in 6S and Nina in 6P who were 2nd and 3rd in the individual league.

Well done and thank you to all children who took part in the competition and practised their times tables over Easter. Class and individual certificates and prizes will be delivered to classes this week.

Please continue to encourage practice at home at least four times a week for 8-10 minutes in any of the game stages as we have seen a rapid increase in fluency in KS2 from the regular practice taking place in school and at home. Pupils are already rapidly recalling tables and overall showing great confidence and motivation to be even better. 
 

The weekly year group tournaments are back up and running so continue to practice to boost your speed, fluency and confidence in the summer term.
