Fielding are holding a Sunrise to Sunset football match.

It is nearly time for Sport Relief and Fielding is planning an extreme sport challenge to raise money this year. On Friday 18^th March Fielding will be holding a Sunrise to Sunset football match! The game will kick off at 6.07 a.m. and will finally finish over 12 hours later at 6.11 p.m. To make this happen Mr. Thomas and Mr. Winn have agreed to each captain a team and play continuously throughout the day. A timetable has been drafted up so that every child from Year 1 to Year 6 will come out and substitute into the game at some point during the day. That means over 700 children will take part in this game!

In addition to staff signing up, we are also hoping that some parents might want to get involved too. If you as a parent would like to play in this game get a copy of the letter from the school notice board and return the slip to school by Thursday 11th February.

In order to actually raise money whilst staging this ridiculously long game of football we are asking all children to bring in a suggested donation of £1 on the day. This will then allow them to come to school in their own clothes (possibly a favourite football kit) and take part in the game. We are also asking parents who would like to play in the game to make a donation to Sports Relief (you can be as generous as you want!), see attached letter. If you would like to show your support but not play in the game you can always come down and cheer on your child when they are taking part in the game (again with a small donation if you wish). The timetable of when the children will be playing will be published soon so you can make arrangements to come and show some support.
