Fielding pupils connect classrooms with with the wider world

Throughout the year, children across the school have been connecting with classrooms around the world to share their learning and to compare and contract different ways of life. 

• As part of their Transport topic, Year 1 have linked up with Kemla Nehru Public School (KNPS) school in Punjab to compare and contrast the modes of transport they use to travel to school.
• Year 4 have linked up with Ombrasa Multilingual School in Lyon to compare and contrast our lunchtime experiences, with a focus on our playgrounds and our school lunches.
• As part of their 'What's so special about the USA' project, Year 5 have linked up with Heritage K-8 Charter School in Escondido, California . Pupils have been comparing and contrasting their local environment, climate and culture to see how this can influence the way they spend their free time.
• The Year 5/6 French club have linked up with Collège Jean-Louis Etienne, in Mazamet to compare and contrast daily school life.
