Following the success of the Mental Health Awareness Workshop for parents in November, we will be running a MindUP workshop for parents and carers on Thursday 6th February from 9-10am. The session will be run by Faye Allen, the school’s MindUP Lead, and will be held in the main hall. MindUP has played an important role for several years at Fielding in developing children’s self-awareness, self-regulation and optimism through teaching children about neuroscience and mindful practices. In the session, we will focus on the brain science behind our emotions and behaviours. We will also look at the benefits of MindUP and a range of strategies you can use at home to help support your child’s health and wellbeing at home. All parents/carers are welcome to come to the workshop.
