Muddy Hands gardeners harvest vegetables for chef

Marrows cooked and served for lunch

Club members from Reception, Years 1 and 2 harvested home-grown marrows from our vegetable beds and presented them to Harrison's school chef, Marina, for cooking on Tuesday.

Marina talked to children about their vegetables and agreed that they would be roasted and served with our regular roast meal on Wednesday.

Harrison's are also currently supporting British Food Fortnight with a focus on fresh British produce. Children have been able to taste a range of different carrots all week.
