Nursery Ladybirds confirmed case of coronavirus

We have been advised by Public Health England of a confirmed case of COVID-19 within our Nursery Ladybirds class bubble. A member of staff has tested positive. We wish her well.

Nursery is closed to all pupils who are in our Ladybirds class bubble because all staff who work in Ladybirds must now self-isolate at home. Nursery will re-open to Ladybirds on Friday 22 January.

We will switch to remote learning at home for children in Nursery Ladybirds.

Close contacts have been identified and contacted by email today. This includes:

  • children who attended Nursery Ladybirds on Monday.
  • all staff members who work in Nursery Ladybirds.

These pupils and members of staff will now self-isolate at home for up to 10 days before returning to their usual activities. It is important that we all play our part in reducing the spread of infection in our school and community.

We know that you may find this worrying but we are continuing to monitor the situation. We are working with Public Health England, following their requirements for schools and have informed the local authority.
