We are looking forward to  welcoming parents back to live events in school!

Alongside our planned roll-out of in-school assemblies and events we will be welcoming parents back to our live events. This will start in 3 weeks time with our EMS ensemble concerts. The concerts will take place in week beginning  Monday 21st March. Miss Neil-Smith will be publishing the full timetable early next week so please look out for it. We will then be inviting Year 3 parents to our 'Easter Show (assembly)' on 30th and 31st March.

 

We are starting with the concert and Easter show as  these events will take place in the main hall, which is a large well-ventilated space. This hopefully also give those parents who wish to attend enough notice. 

 

At the moment we are not returning to events in classrooms because rooms are too small to ventilate and distance when pupils and parents are present at the same time.

 

If all goes to plan, class sharing assemblies with an adult audience will start from Friday 22 April (after the Easter holiday).

 

We will continue to focus on good ventilation and hand-washing. Adults in school and parents may still wear a face covering if they choose to.

 

In school assemblies for the children will be returning to face to face assemblies in the halls. We plan to roll these out over a period of time so that we can review the impact on infection and revert to remote assemblies if necessary.

 

Assembly roll out for children:

• Year group assemblies, from Monday 28 February, Halls 

• Phase assemblies, including singing assemblies, from Monday 14 March, Halls 

• Whole school assemblies (by class letter) from Monday 25 April, Halls 

 

Childcare 

• Return to full mixing of pupil age groups from Monday 28 February
