Supporting the Charity - World Wildlife Fund (WWF)

Each year, we ask our children to choose three charities they would like to support. We choose one local charity, one national charity and one global charity to support throughout the academic year. For more information about how we choose charities, please see here.

This year we have already held a school fundraiser for Ealing food bank and one for Cancer Research UK.  On Tuesday 9th July we will hold our third charity event for the global charity WWF (World Wildlife Fund)

On the day the pupils will be learning about the importance of supporting charities and how this links to one of our school values, empathy.  In class pupils will be learning about how this charity supports endangered animals from around the world.

To support the charity, we ask families to donate a small monetary contribution on Tuesday 9th July (we suggest £1.) On the day pupils will vote for one of the animals that they have learnt about and as a class try to cover a picture of that animal with their donations. The money will be collected from classes and donated to the charity to support the important work that they do.
