Two teams of Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 children represented Fielding in Kurling today at Featherstone High School.

We entered 2 teams consisting of Year 3 & 4 and another team of Year 5 & 6. Elias (6P), Dylan (6H), Imraan (6F), Hamdi (6F), Caitlin (6P), Ellie (6P) and William (5F) were extremely unlucky to finish 4th in their group with some great shots being made in the final game and Fielding leading 2-0. After a very tactical encounter, Clifton were able to push both of our stones out of the board to level the game and end with a draw. 

Unfortunately for the Year 3 & 4 team, some children were unable to attend but Grace (Oak) & Elisa (4P) did not let that affect them and still were confident and showed a positive attitude. The girls done a great job accumulating 16 points in total and finishing 1st place in their group! Elisa (4P) and Grace (Oak) worked so well as a team and had a game plan. Elisa (4P) demonstrated some great accuracy as she was able to consistently knock the ball out of the board and Grace (Oak) had amazing shot selection as she pushed her stones into the scoring zone, so by working as a team, they managed to do incredibly well today. Unfortunately, as they were only a team of two today and the rules stated that teams must consist of 4, they were unable to progress onto the finals.
