Ordering individual meals for each pupil in advance takes effect on Monday 26th September. Make sure you have ordered your child's meals in advance. We are making these changes because we need to:

• better match the meals pupils choose to eat to the food that we serve;
• we want to reduce the amount of food that is cooked and wasted each day.

Please help us to better match the food we serve to the meals that pupils want to eat so that we reduce food waste. 

 

At the moment, we estimate the amount of food we need to cook based on previous weeks. We do not want to run out of food during a meal service so too much food gets cooked. Ordering in advance will help us better match the amount of food cooked to the meals we serve.

 

For Reception, year 1 & 2 pupils, family style service and free school meals for all continues. There is no need to order meals in advance using this system.

 

Nursery lunch and afternoon tea continues, unchanged. There is no need to order meals in advance using this system.
