Your child's progress, live on MCAS for Years 1 -6

Your child's assessment date is now on MCAS.

Your child’s class teacher has been busy assessing your child’s learning during the first few weeks of term. This is to help us carefully plan our teaching so that any gaps that may have arisen due to school closure can be closed. In Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 children took  part in the NFER reading and mathematics assessments. Leaders are putting the finishing touches to our catch-up plans, we will communicate these with you next week.

Find out more here about how we assess your children’s learning and share their progress with you:

Teachers in all year groups also looked at  children’s writing ability and reading fluency (this includes phonics for children in Reception, Year 1 and 2).

Your child’s class teacher has upload the outcomes of their assessments to My Child at School (MCAS).

Find out how to access your child’s assessments here:

If you haven't done so already, remember to book your virtual parents consultation meeting, on the 5th or 12th of October to discuss your child's learning and next steps. Parent consultations will take place on Microsoft Teams. You can book your appointment now on MCAS.

For parents who have children in Reception and Nursery, your child's teachers are still getting to know your child and what they can and can't do.  We will let you know when this will be available to view on MCAS
