School term and holiday dates from September 2024 to July 2026 are available to view on our website. Nursery and school holiday childcare dates are also included.

 

• Last school day before half term: 3:30pm, Friday 14th February
• First school day after half term: 9:00am, Monday 24th February
• Specialist clubs and music tuition running as normal until 14th February 
• Holiday Club available during half term. Bookings can be made via MCAS 

 

Attendance at Fielding continues to be very high, reflecting the way that our families value their children's education so highly. Please continue to make all holiday and other travel arrangements during school holiday periods.

 

Absences before and after school holidays
 

Pupil absences that occur immediately before or immediately after a school holiday should be evidenced.

 

If you need to travel for exceptional circumstances, you should make a request to the headteacher by completing a leave of absence request form. You should also take note of the definition of exceptional absences on our website.

 

Absences that are reported as illness may be recorded as unauthorised. This is particularly true if we are able to evidence a pattern of absence for pupils immediately before or after a school holiday.
