I'd like to extend my thanks to the PTFA reps who attended our ISS 'tasting session' just before the Easter break. It was really useful to hear questions and get feedback about school lunches in general.

 

One of the suggestions made was reducing the size of the cake-based deserts so that children could opt for fruit as well as the cake (which is often seen as a 'treat' based desert - more on this to come soon),  I'm happy to let you know that ISS will be starting this on Monday, to coincide with the launch of family-style service for pupils in key stage 2. 

 

Thank you to those of you who have signed up to attend one of the ISS coffee mornings next week. These will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.15am in the main school hall. The hall will be set up as it is at lunchtime, so you can see what it looks like for the children.

 

Please see an updated version of the menu linked below that starts tomorrow. You'll notice that ISS have added icons next to each dish, so that you can see which ones have been 'supercharged' and which ones contain 1 or 2 of your 'five-a-day.'
