The second round of cooking lessons for this school year has got off to a good start with Year 6 and 5 being creative in the kitchen. Don't forget to check your Year Group Noticeboard to find out where it is your child's classes turn.
Thank you to those parents who paid the £4 voluntary contribution last half-term. Unfortunately numbers for this were very low, which means we aren't yet able to be as creative with the cooking as we would like to be.
The £4 contribution for this half-term has been added to Laser , ready for you to add to your cashbook. To make make a payment:
- Log on to Laser
- Select Trips, events and music
- Click on booking
- Click on other
- Find your year group voluntary contribution, click 'book event'
- Follow the instruction on the screen through to payment on World Pay.
A couple of reminders:
- Care plans: teachers will check these carefully for food allergies and intolerances when planning food preparation and will ensure certain ingredients are not used and that procedures are put in place to avoid cross-contamination where needed. Please check these are updated on Laser
- Log in to Laser
- Click on Medical Care Plan
- Remember to 'Sign' at the bottom by clicking on the 'sign' button. To make changes you need to 'unsign' by clicking again.
- On their allocated cooking day, pupils should bring a clearly labelled container. Pupils will then be able to bring home some/all of the food they have prepared at school to share with their families and friends (if they haven't eaten it first!).
