Many parents will be very familiar with Barefoot Books either on their bookshelves at home or via books that are included in their child's book bags for home learning.
The PTFA are therefore very excited to announce that it has purchased over 100 brand new Barefoot books to add to the school library. The range of books include World Atlases, Star Seekers, The Sounds Around Town, The Story of the Chinese Zobiac and We All Went on Safari amongst others.
The opportunity to purchase these books came as a result of one very supportive parent, Micaela Tong. A close family member of Micaela - Claire Turnham - had a large stock of Barefoot Books and allowed the PTFA to purchase the books at less than cost price. The purchase has come with the full support of the school management and books were hand selected to benefit the children. The PTFA want to thank all those involved in arranging this opportunity including Chloe Hillman, Micaela Tong and of course Claire Turnham. We really hope the children enjoy reading them!!
