More opportunities to develop your child's love of books!

All children from Reception to Year 6 will be taking part in Readathon from Monday 9th January until Thursday 9th February. The children will be deciding on how many and which books they will be setting themselves as a challenge to read during this time and writing these in their sponsorship card which they will receive on Wednesday 4th January. They will then be asking family members for sponsorship money if they manage to succeed in the challenge they set for themselves. All sponsorship money raised will go towards helping seriously ill children in hospital and providing them with much needed books and storyteller visits.

We are also very excited to be welcoming the Scholastic Book Fair on Monday 30th January until Friday 3rd February. Books will be available to buy before and after school in the KS2 Library. Exact timings for this will follow shortly.
