Fielding Primary School's Year 5 & 6 Girls Performance football team put on an exceptional display as they triumphed over local rivals North Ealing Primary School with a resounding

 

11- 0 victory

 

The match began with Fielding Girls having a slow start, struggling initially to find the back of the net. However, after the first 10 minutes, the Fielding girls began to dominate possession and quickly turned the tide in their favor.

 

By halftime, Fielding had established a commanding lead of 4-0. The girls showed determination and focus during the break, knowing they needed to maintain their performance and avoid complacency in the second half.

 

The second half saw Fielding Girls build on their momentum, coming back even stronger. They added an impressive 7 goals to their tally, displaying remarkable teamwork and skill throughout the match.

 

At the final whistle, Fielding emerged victorious with a remarkable 11-0 scoreline. Special recognition goes to Adelaide for maintaining a clean sheet in goal. The defensive lineup, consisting of Miral (5H), Daisy (5P), Lois (5P), Darcy (6P), Emily (6S), and Alice (5S), provided a solid foundation to ensure no goals were scored.

 

Upfront, the strikers were in sensational form, with Coco (5P) leading the charge with 4 goals, followed by Flo G (6S) scoring a hattrick. They were also supported by Qamara (5S) scoring 1 goal and Emily who scored 2 goals.

 

Congratulations to the Year 5 & 6 Girls Performance football team for their outstanding performance and teamwork, securing a well-deserved victory over North Ealing Primary School which means they are through to the semi-finals against Oaklands.
