Thank you for your responses to the Annual Parent Survey

This year we had a fantastic response from 411 families representing 565 pupils (61%).

You told us that the things you most like about Fielding are:

• Teachers and teaching
• Values-based education
• Friendly, community atmosphere
• Outdoor space
• Specialist Clubs

The things you would most  like to see improved are:

• Communication
• Homework
• Playground behaviour
• Playground facilities
• Class sizes and organisation
• Information on progress

Things we are working on:

• Communication:

The Governing Body have considered the responses to the survey and will be looking at the ways we communicate in more detail. A further survey will follow in the Summer Term to find out a little more about how our current systems could be adapted. The Governing Body would like to invite any parents who have particular expertise in this area to volunteer to work with them on a short project looking at communication. • Homework

The Governing Body and staff are currently reviewing the outcomes of changes made following the parent consultation on Home Learning.

• Playground behaviour and facilities

We are continuing to implement our behaviour policy which was new in September. We have an ongoing playground project, linked to improving our facilities, further information to follow.

• Information on progress

This term parents will receive an online 'snap-shot' report in addition to the end of term assessment information, this is a trial. Please let us know your thoughts at assessment@fielding.ealing.sch.uk
