Attendance Matters

Poor attendance can seriously affect each child’s:
 academic achievement and learning in school,
 relationships with staff and other children, including their ability to form lasting friendships,
 confidence to attempt new work and to learn alongside others.
Holidays/time off
There are 175 non-school days in a year. This is 175 days to spend on holidays, family time, visits, shopping, relaxing, playing with friends and other appointments.
Holidays are not permitted during the school year regardless of circumstances. All holiday time taken will be unauthorised and will incur a fine of upto £120.00 per parent.
