Could you be our new Clerk to the Governing Board? 

 

The Clerk is responsible for organising and supporting meetings of the Governing Board and Committees, and for advising the Board on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.  

 

The Governing Board is inviting expressions of interest from those willing to develop expertise in school governance and with the skills and experience to provide a high quality board and committee secretariat service. Direct experience of school governance is not necessary, and the school will meet the reasonable costs of achieving an appropriate Level 3 qualification in school governance.  

 

The Clerk is not a school employee but an independent contractor. Experienced clerks are in high demand and the appointee may be able to develop a portfolio of clerking appointments in due course.
