On Tuesday, Fielding took the Year 5&6 NFL team to Spikes Bridge to compete in this years NFL London Regionals Competition. There were 12 teams competing for the chance to represent London at the NFL Nationals later in June and after a half term learning our plays we felt we were in with a good chance. 

The teams hard work in training and studying of their plays paid off as they brushed past a number of schools in the early rounds of the competition. As the games went on our confidence grew and we eventually made it all the way to the final where we due to play against Little Ealing. We were excited to find out that as the London Regionals was one of the biggest regional competitions in the country, both finalists had already qualified for Nationals but we still wanted the win. It was a tough game which saw us concede our first touchdowns of the day as we lost 3-1.

We played some great flag football today and are now very excited to represent London in the Nationals at Loughborough University.
