As this school year is coming to an end we are now starting to plan for sport next year at Fielding. With this in mind we would like to announce news of squad trials for mixed tag rugby, boys football and girls football. Each trial is open to Year 5 and 6 children who would like the opportunity to be part of a sports squad which offers the opportunity to represent the school at competition. All eligible children are warmly welcomed to attend the trial day, after which squads will be picked based on performance, ability and attitude. Successful children will then attend training before school on their squads allocated day with the further aim of being selected in teams to represent the school. Please remember that the trials are for squad selection and do not guarantee a place on a sports team at a competition. However, to be selected to represent the school you must be part of the squad and so the trial days are very important for children with those sporting ambitions.

Times and dates for the trials are below:

 

• Mixed boys and girls tag rugby trials on Tuesday 13^th September at 7.45am.
• Boys football trials on Wednesday 14^th September at 7.45am.
• Girls football trials on Thursday 15^th September at 7.45am.
