With a compassionate view towards the approaching end of winter, Year 4 has been warming up February by studying to process of melting.  Working scientifically, they have planned and carried out investigations into various states of matter and discovered that butter and chocolate not only taste good, but they can be enjoyed in as a liquid and a solid! 

Very good progress is being made by all with both spellings and the new times tables challenge. Exploring the tricky world of grammar through first person narratives as a cat, the children have expressed their fictional imaginations through the moral dilemmas of their frisky felines.
