We are further developing our use of Laser to include health, medical and accident information.

You should all now be familiar with some of the functions of our Laser System, many of you have been using it to book Childcare and Specialist Clubs and most recently your parent consultation appointments.

 

We are moving from paper based Health Care Plans to on-line forms that can be updated termly. This information will be stored on Laser so that it can be accessed by any member of school or club staff. This will ensure that information is communicated and updated regularly. Health Care Plans will also be linked to our new online Minor Accident Reporting (M.A.R.S) system. All accidents, even minor bumps and scratches will be recorded on this system. If your child has an accident at school, you will receive this information as an e-mail by the end of the school day. If we feel the accident or injury is significant and requires medical attention you will receive a phone call before you receive a M.A.R.S notification email.

 

What do you need to do?

From Tuesday 26th April you  need to update the Health Care Section of your child’s Laser account. Please log onto your school Laser account and select ‘School Forms’, you will be directed to the Health Care Plan. Please complete for each of your children, even if your child does not have a medical or health care need. You will be required to digitally sign this form each term to confirm it is up-to-date with the most recent information. Health Care forms should be completed by Friday 6^th May.
