After half term, KS2 children will start to learn the Quicksticks form of Hockey in PE. Lessons are planned to ensure children learn in a safe environment with minimal risk of injury, however injuries do sometimes occur. In order to further minimise the risk of injury children are encouraged to wear mouth guards and shin pads. Mouthguards and shinpads are not compulsory in lessons but are recommended. These can be purchased from the majority of sports stores or alternatively you can purchase them from the school for cost price. 

Shinpads will cost £2.50 and come in medium or small size.

Mouth guards will cost £1.50.

Both can be purchased through Laser. Once payment has been made, orders will be delivered to your children in class.
