Music Assembly

Fielding's next Music Assembly will take place on Monday 28th November.

Fielding Music Assemblies give our talented musicians a chance to perform in front of their peers.  In this Assembly, we want to hear ONLY from children who play an instrument...NO SINGERS OR BANDS on this occasion.  So if you play piano, guitar, clarinet or any other instrument, we'd like to hear from you.  Perhaps you might want to perform a solo; possibly you'll need a piano accompaniment (Mr Mappin can help with this); or maybe you want to do a duet or trio with a couple of friends.

It is important that anyone who decides to perform has practised beforehand and is prepared to play in front of an audience of over 350 children...just a little scary!

If children have a piece that they're particularly proud of (perhaps something they've been practising for their lessons) then they should let Mr Mappin know as soon as possible.  Performers will have to bring in their instruments on Friday afternoon to rehearse, then will play to the school on Monday morning or afternoon (during their normal assembly time).

Children should sign up as soon as they can...spaces are limited, and there is no guarantee that they will be able to play on Monday.  But don't worry, because there will be plenty more chances to perform in future Music Assemblies.
