The return of the Summer Picnic after a three year break proved to be a great success with well over 400 people attending during the seven hour period. 

 

Although the sun was a cause for concern for many families, most managed to find shade under the trees or used gazebos to shield themselves from the heat.  Of course the Splash Zone proved incredibly popular as was the visit from London Fire Brigade.

 

As a result of running a BBQ, Bar and ticket sales, the PTFA managed to raise over £2,500 from the event.  Many thanks to all those parents who volunteered to help serve or manage the gates.  These events do not happen by themselves.  Thank you again to Sargeants Estate agents for their sponsorship of the event and for Samosas Direct and Q-bot for getting involved too!
