Please make contingency arrangements

There is a risk that the school will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 30th October, because it is unhygienic to open as a result of exceptionally low water pressure to the school site.

The water pressure is so low into the building that 

• the kitchen barely has enough water to operate;
• there is no water to the first floor of the building;
• toilet cisterns are not filling fast enough on ground floor so toilets are becoming blocked.

Thames Water have been informed and will attend the site by 10pm.  We will take the decision to close tomorrow morning by 8am, earlier if possible.  We will post closure decision on Latest News and via Twitter.

Parents are encouraged to make contingency arrangements for childcare tomorrow in the event of closure.
