Staff update

Retirement, promotions, leavers, changes and joiners for the next school year. Fielding has a full compliment of class teachers ready for the start of the new school year.

Retirement

Mrs Gill, Higher Level Teaching Assistant for years 1 and 2, retires at the end of this school year. She has worked at Fielding for over 20 years.

Teacher leavers

At the end of this term, Miss Sammon, Miss Cowing, Miss Francis-Dottin and Miss Thomas leave Fielding:

  • Miss Sammon returns to her native Ireland having worked for 6 years at Fielding;
  • Miss Cowing started her teaching career at Fielding and moves to a school in Richmond after 4 years with us;
  • Miss Francis-Dottin gains promotion and moves to St. Mark's Primary School after nearly 4 years at Fielding;
  • Miss Thomas is relocating to Scotland after 2 years at Fielding.

We wish them all well in the next steps of their career and life plans.

New PE teaching team

Mr Thomas moves from being a specialist PE teacher to work as a class teacher at Fielding. Mr Winn leaves us to work closer to home, having relocated and commuted miles each day to Fielding. Together, they have made a substantial contribution to PE, sport and developing pupils' active lifestyles.

  • Natasha Pasha joins us as an expert PE teacher. Miss Pasha returns to the UK from working overseas. She has a passion for pupils' active lifestyles, health and well-being.
  • We are recruiting to fill Mr Winn's vacancy before the end of term.

New class teachers

We welcome new class teachers to our team:

  • Gemma Robinson is an experienced teacher (also a Fielding parent) who joins us from another Ealing primary school.
  • Charlotte Ellis starts her teaching career with us.
  • Kurangi Goel and Davina Paul also start their teaching careers with us. Currently, both are trainee teachers at Fielding.

ARP Leader

Our ARP leader starts work in September to get ready for opening to pupils. The ARP will welcome up to 27 pupils, in 3 classes, who have special educational needs, an education, health & care plan and needs on the autistic spectrum from January 2023:

  • Alison Trott is an experienced SRP leader (also a Fielding parent) who joins us from a Hillingdon school.
