What was life like in the Stone Age? This is the question faced by Year 3 this term. Children have found out about the job of an archaeologist, how shelters were made and discovered facts about hunter gathers. Year 3 were especially disgusted to find out that some early humans ate the last meal from the stomachs of the animals caught for supper! The story of 'Ug' by Raymond Briggs has been heard and the children are learning to write comic strips about the Stone Age using their computer skills. Looking forward, we are excited about dressing up on December 1st in our Stone Age costumes and discovering more about the fascinating Stone Age.
