Excellent results last year compared to local schools

More Year 6 pupils left Fielding ‘secondary ready’ than neighbouring schools*. The proportion of Year 6 pupils last year who met the government’s expected standard or above in reading, writing and maths combined placed Fielding firmly in the top 25% of Ealing’s 62 schools and higher than all neighbouring schools.

Progress

Our Year 6 pupils also made excellent progress, resulting in Fielding climbing into the top 25% of Ealing’s schools for progress in writing and maths, and just outside the top 25% for progress in reading.  Compared to neighbouring schools, Fielding’s pupils made more progress in maths than other schools with only pupils at Grange outperforming our children’s progress in reading and writing.

Year 2

At the end of Year 2, Fielding’s pupils also achieved very highly in reading, writing and maths assessments, placing Fielding in the top 10, or better, of all Ealing’s schools.

Year 1

For Year 1, our 98% success rate in the Phonics screening test placed Fielding’s pupils 3rd in Ealing, the highest of all neighbouring schools.

Reception

Reception pupils got off to a great start at Fielding with 84% achieving a ‘good level of development’ placing Fielding’s pupils 4th in Ealing.

The government will publish final comparative results in November for all schools. Find out more:
