Welcome back to school on Tuesday 5 September

We are looking forward to welcoming all pupils back to school on Tuesday 5 September:

  • Breakfast Club and early morning Nursery, from 7.30am
  • Nursery, from 8am
  • Main school and ARP - Reception & Years 1 to 6 - from 8.45am with registration and lessons starting at 9am.
    • Reception joiners all start on Tuesday 5 September, full-time.
  • After-school club and specialist clubs start from 3.30pm.

Surveys show no dangerous concrete (reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete or RAAC) is in school. The school is fully open.

Lessons and our taught curriculum start straight away, except PE, French and music. These lessons, taught by our specialist teachers, begin w/c Monday 11 September so that pupils have their main class teachers during the first week of school. PE kit / uniform to be worn on PE days from Monday 11 September.

Term and holiday dates are available up to July 2025 for parents to note so that every child is at school every day during term-time.

All pupils wear the Fielding uniform. The option to wear summer uniform continues until Autumn half-term.

Every pupil from Reception to year 6 receives a free school meal every day thanks to funding from the Mayor of London for the 2023/4 school year. All dietary needs can be managed by ISS Feeding Hungry Minds, our caterers.

For families who are entitled to income related benefits, please tell us so that you continue to benefit from the school's Pupil Premium funding.

Her Majesty the Queen opened our refurbished library for pupils from year 3-6 on Tuesday 29 August during the Poetry Together event. New furnishing looks stunning. Mrs Hodge becomes full-time librarian to better organise and manage our book stock. New books, linked to our curriculum will start to appear though the school year.

An updated approach to managing pupils' behaviour is the main focus for whole staff training on Monday. Pupils will benefit from a more rounded approach with emphasis on knowing how to manage their own behaviour through our Zones of Regulation.
