Today Fielding hosted this years Year 3 & 4 football tournament on the school field. Twelve teams from 9 different schools attended today, all trying their hardest to leave with the trophy and winners medals around their neck. Teams were drawn into 2 groups of 6 with the top 2 qualifying for the semi finals. During the group stage of the competition Fielding played St. Mark's A, Berrymede A, Edward Betham, Oaklands and Mount Carmel and beat therm all without conceding a single goal to finish top of the group. This meant that they had to play Berrymede B in the semi finals as they finished runners up in the other group. It was tough game in the semi final but we came through it as we won 1-0. This set up a cup final against St. Mark's A who we had already beaten in the group.
