Half of pupils in years 4, 5 or 6 have gained at least one Values Baccalaureate award, so far this year. Many pupils have gained more than one award with a few completing all four - Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum - awards:

• Year 4 pupils:

• Year 5 pupils:

  • Silver, 30
  • Gold, 15
  • Platinum, 3
• Year 6 pupils:
  • Bronze, 77
  • Silver, 47
  • Gold, 14
  • Platinum, 2

 

Broadly, we expect pupils to achieve Bronze during year 4, Silver during year 5 and Gold during year 6. Some pupils may achieve the awards earlier and some later. The key part is working through the programme, enjoying new experiences and reflecting on own achievement. 

 

Our Values Baccalaureate programme is unique to Fielding, based on our Values-based education approach. It helps pupils understand the meaning of our values. The programme was co-designed with pupils who suggested tasks matched to each award and the addition of a Platinum award for those who wanted to go further. 

 

A short, simple portfolio, submitted to class teachers to show achievement of tasks results in the award being issued.
