Children across the school had the chance to celebrate their language learning experiences with their peers and teachers today. In Year 5 alone, we counted twenty-three different languages spoken across the year group including Danish, Polish, French, Hebrew, Spanish, Bosnian, Arabic, Turkish, German, Urdu, Armenian, Italian, Portuguese, Kosovan, Bulgarian, Japanese, Lithuanian, Persian, Russian, Hindu, Chinese Finnish, Ukrainian, Dutch, Chechen, Swedish and Swahili.  The highlight of the day was also a lovely French-themed lunch designed by our Year 5 pupils and prepared by our amazing catering team. We hope the children had an enjoyable and memorable day and are feeling particularly proud of their linguistic abilities today.
