We have been advised by Public Health England of an additional confirmed case of COVID-19 within our Reception, Group 1 class bubble taught by Miss Karim. 

A pupil has tested positive. Symptoms are reported to be mild. 

 

If your child has any symptoms, including mild ones please arrange a test.

 

Children in our Reception, Group 2 class bubble taught by Mrs O'Neil are not affected because our Reception is split into 2 separate containment bubbles. Reception remains open to these pupils.

 

Children in Reception Group 1 need to stay at home and self-isolate. The last day of self-isolation is Monday 8 February. Pupils may return to school on Tuesday 9 February. This means these pupils should not leave the house for any reason.

 

There are no further close contacts.

 

We know that you may find this worrying but we are continuing to monitor the situation. We are working with Public Health England, following their requirements for schools and have informed the local authority.
